New CPD Policy
Our Instant HR Policies and Procedures Manual is used by many professional firms and clinics across Australia. Many organisations employ staff where ongoing CPD is a requirement to maintain their registration, accreditation or license.
Today we have released Version 9.1 of our Employee Manual and have included a new CPD policy under the Learning and Development section.
While professional or registration bodies provide details of CPD requirements and documentation, the interaction with learning and development plans in a workplace have now been clarified as part of the new CPD policy. We have also clarified the roles and responsibilities of managers and the employee in relation to meeting CPD requirements.
New Criminal History Assessments
In Version 9.1 of the employee manual, and Version 1.1 of the NDIS HR Manual (also released today) we have also included a new policy for roles where an employee needs to have a clear police check every 12 months (or every 3 years for supervisory roles).
In this policy we have included additional details on the type of convictions that may result in dismissal, as well as convictions that require an employee to provide additional information and which may impact on their employment.
These changes are also reflected in an updated section relating to Criminal History Checks as part of the recruitment process.
Existing owners of the Instant HR Policies and Procedures Manual and the NDIS HR Manual can log in and download these latest updates to their manual.
